Building passport

A source-backed record of a building's structure, condition, systems and history.

Audience

  • Homeowner
  • Agent

Built from

  • Plans room-by-room scan
  • Danish building and public registers
  • Historical permits and inspection files
  • Energy certificate data

Why it exists

Before a sale, the owner needs one place for facts scattered across PDFs, registers and memory.

The passport gives the buyer a clear starting point: what is measured, what is registered and what still needs checking.

It is useful in a seller meeting because the agent can open the source behind a number instead of asking the buyer to trust a polished summary.

What exists today

A property file collects documents. A building passport puts the measured building beside those documents and shows where each fact came from.

Market

The passport keeps the scan, register values and historical documents distinct so a mismatch is visible.
